Is SKY Broadband Boost worth it?

Off the back of my recent thread about SKY Wifi Blackouts, one of the suggestions on boosting the connection around the home they suggested was upgrading my Router to a Boost Hub. Is this worth it?

I have discussed this with family and they have said Which? do not recommend them and that they only guarantee you 4mbps in every room or £100 back I believe? Not even that they will release you from the contract!

What do you all think? Is it a genuine boost or a drain on the wallet?

Hi Jack,

These days 4Mbps isn’t going to get you a great deal - it can barely manage a HD stream let alone anything else, and £100 back is not going to remedy the fact the connection is so poor. IMHO I’d avoid! :slight_smile:
