With the National budget right around the corner what are you hoping to see in it for the Broadband industry? Last year we got £5bn to increase the spread of Gigabit-capable broadband. With Covid, do you think we will get anything near this this year?

This scheme ends as of 31st March (or before if the existing funds run dry), but we have heard rumours of the next version, which we think will be outlined better as part of the budget. Hopefully it will be a seamless rollover to the new scheme, although we don’t know if the subsidies will be changed or not.
