Getting FTTP installed from BT next week. I’d like the router installed in a cupboard in our utility room. We have a power socket fitted. Do BT run the cable through the house or do we have to do it ourselves?

The engineers will typically install the FTTP box (or ONT) on a wall that is close to where the fibre comes into the property. You may be able to ask them to place the box in a more convenient place, although a lot of the time this could be considered outside of the original requirements, and you could end up being billed for the additional work/time.
