I’ve always found that threatening to leave at the end of your contract period (with good cause of course) will prompt the retentions teams to offer you discounts or add-ons at a limited time no extra cost.
I was with Sky a while back and was paying upwards of £100 for their broadband and satellite TV packages. I told them how I’d not had a router upgrade in years, TV wasn’t worth watching despite all the various packed I’d subbed to, yet the price was going up.
