Helping my parents remotely

I’ve seen services at work where you can take control of another persons computer when they don’t know where to go or what to look at.
I have a aged father that is still using his computer quite actively, but often needs help. He is hard of hearing, and it can be a frustrating experience on both sides when I’m asking him to do things and then explain to me what he is seeing.
Are there any cost effective tools I can use to help him remotely?

Hi RWT75

The service you’re looking for is called remote desktop. This tool allows you to control a device via the installed software. Make sure, however, both devices have the same program installed.

In my opinion, the most user friendly and easy to use programs are:
AnyDesk: The Fast Remote Desktop Application – AnyDesk
TeamViewer: TeamViewer – The Remote Connectivity Software

Hope this helps!
